9-5 daily, closed Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year's Day. Permanent displays telling the life and careers of Herbert Hoover, and temporary gallery with changing exhibits on political history. The park includes the birthplace cottage of Hoover, reconstructed blacksmith shop, Friends meeting house, 76 acre tallgrass prairie, one-room schoolhouse and grave site of President Hoover and Mrs. Lou Henry Hoover. Administered by the National Park Service.
