WASHINGTON

Washington is a town of 7,300 located south of Iowa City/Coralville on Highway 218. It was named "One of the best 100 small towns in America," by Norman Crampton in 1995. Home to the Washington Community School District and the Conger House Museum, it is known as the city of flowers and trees and "the cleanest city in Iowa."
