TRANSFERRING TO ANOTHER COLLEGE OR UNIVERSITY

Contact Enrollment Services at the above address or call, (319) 398-5603 and request that your official transcripts be sent to the school you plan to attend. You may also make this request online.

TRANSFERABILITY OF CLASSES/CREDITS

You can transfer courses taken at the Kirkwood Community College to the University of Iowa or any other four-year schools, or to other community colleges. The final decision on whether to accept a course for transfer will be made by the receiving school. You may attend Kirkwood and other schools simultaneously.

• You can transfer coursework by completing a two-year Associate of Arts degree at Kirkwood and then transfer to the new school as a junior.
  
  
• You may also take selected courses at Kirkwood and transfer them individually.

Transcript request cards for both types of transfers are available ath the Kirkwood Community College Iowa City Center or at the Enrollment Servicesoffice in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.
