Students
in the Arts and Sciences at Kirkwood can earn an Associate of
Arts or an Associate of Science degree. These degrees are the
equivalent of the first two years of study required by four-year
colleges, and they include the general education course work
you need to complete before concentrating on your major. Course
work can then be transferred
to a four-year institution.
The
Associate of Arts degree is for the student whose
goal is a Bachelor of Arts degree in a liberal arts major. The
