The Press-Citizen will publish
general events announcements in the Saturday Life Events
section. However, you have the option of running your announcement
on any day of the week. The following are guidelines
and an online submission form. You may
submit the form online or print it out and mail it to:

GUIDELINES:
GENERAL EVENTS
• Announcements
will run in the Saturday Life Events page.
• Photos submitted
with this form need to be at least 200 dpi with a 5 inch
vertical dimension. Please save the flies in an IBM tiff
or JPEG format. Submit photos in a separate e-mail addressed
to: announcements@press-citizen.com,
with a subject line indicating TYPE of announcement. Please
include your name within the e-mail as well.
• Photos submitted
in person may be picked up at the Press-Citizen, located
at 1725 N. Dodge Street on the Monday following your announcement's
publication. Additional copies of your newspaper will be
delivered to you at this time.
• The
deadline for all Life Events announcements is Wednesday
at 5:00 p.m. for publication in the upcoming Saturday edition.
• Use first names
in all instances. Parents
should be listed by first and last names, not by Mr. and
Mrs. If parents are divorced, please indicate.
• Payments:
Announcements MUST be PRE-PAID BEFORE
running. Please indicate at the end of your form if you
will be mailing a check or using a credit card. Please
see our rates listed below.
